Hey guys/gals So what I want to do is connect my camera (450D) to my laptop, and be able to use live view and see what my camera is seeing. Is this even possible?

I basically want to take self portraits, and want to know if it's possible for me to line myself up by looking on the laptop

yep this is a feature of the 450d connect it to your computer via usb then open up the EOS utility, click remote shooting then mess around there
