What printer do you use? Is Kodak the best or at least worth it considering their extremely low prices on cartridges and the fact that they can print much more then average cartridges?

Skip inkjet's altogether and get proper c-types done in a shop instead.

yeah epson are the best standard "commercial" printers, but not the cheapest to by/run

I would but the cost is too much, I can print 8x10's with a printer for roughly $.50 per but at the store it's over $3 per.

I broke enough as it is from getting them developed. xD



Ok thanks, but I don't have $650 to spend on a printer, if I get that kind of money I'll invest it into two lenses and a flatbed first.

Could you recommend one less then $200? I've printed photo lab quality pictures with Inkjets but the one I was using was very expensive to do it on because of the $70 per cartridge.

If you're really serious about printing - get it done professionally!

Depends on the quality of print you are after.

Have you hardware calibrated your monitor? (If not, I wouldnt bother paying good money for a printer)




You can acheive professional prints at home. You just have to understand the relationship between what you see on screen and the output.
