After climbing through the obstacle course of fallen trees, I made it to the far left side upstream. I then carefully crossed the log, and placed the tripod in the flowing stream.
Set the focus to infinity, F22, 2 second shutter, and took the shot stretching my arm out into the water to press the shutter.

Pleased with the outcome, and feel it was worth the effort.

This will be my last post here. (Not LAST LAST) but I definitely will not be posting my photos as frequently. I may upload a few here and there to give you some updates on how I am doing, but I feel I am putting more effort
into my posts here than I am receiving with the replies.

This is amazing! I just think it's brilliant.
Of course, I'm not a photography master, but I really want to start it.
I only have a basic camera, getting a job soon and going to start shooting.
Any adivice?

Excellent shot especially with the difficulties to overcome to take it :)
And i officially fell in love with that stream!

Would be great if you continue to share your great works, its a pleasure to look at it every time.

Some people, i include myself into this as well until a couple of days ago,
may be too shy to post and rather look in astonishment because they dont have the technical knowledge and all.

Im trolling this forum since a long time because i enjoy it a lot to look at all these great works, its a very special place here.
Yet I didnt want to say anything wrong with my poor skills and look rather stupid with my little comments :D

But i also understand that an artist likes to have a little feedback even if its just a "wow, great shot"
to encourage him/her to go on and get something back for his effort and i will try to do so :)

That's a nice one mate.

You dont have to put as much effort into your posts, i find just pasting a link here with a quick description works well. People in this forum may not have as much experience as yourself so maybe that's why they do not wish to comment. Its your responsibility as the one with more experience to help them before they help you!

Furthermore, i agree with what NaRa is saying. Even if you are not benefiting from the input that other forum users give it is still good of you to share your work here to inspire others.
So please do continue to share your images here!

I love the contrast between the trees and the water. the log that goes throught middle almost cuts the photo in half. beautiful picture thanks for sharing it :)

I agree with Nara as well, I don't know how to give positive feedback on photos because I am just starting to get into it more myself.

Nice pic, you should get a ND filter so you can take down the F number and get even longer shutter speeds when you need them

Nice Spencer. Lovely composition, tones, contrast, etc. Perfect shutter as usual. My favorite of the falls easily.
