I went to an antique store this morning and looked around just for something to do, and I found something I really didn't expect. They had probably 40-50 camera's scattered around the place... There are a few things that I got from this...

1st, I bought a Minolta X-370 and a 1.7f/50mm lens for only $15, I almost crapped myself since on E-bay and Amazon they go for anywhere from $25-$200 without the lens, and it works great. To add onto that is the fact that if I purchase an adapter I can use that lens and any other Minolta lenses on my DSLR.

2nd, how many random brands of SLR's are there? Geez... I found so many I've never heard of like Petri..

3rd, do you have to load Brownies one picture at a time in a dark room and expose your self? Do they use film or paper?

Eh, nice finds! When I'm down in Cambridge, Ontario I spend a lot of time in the antieuqe stores looking for cameras too.

Me & My good friends mom are pretty close, and both enjoying collecting these antiques.
We've created quite a big big (about 20 camera) collection of Brownies and such.
They are very nice vintages.
I don't think you can get film or anything for them anymore however.

Ok thanks for the information, I know people on Flickr were still shooting with them, but I guess they just have film or something.

I've only got a collection of about 2 cameras, haha... If you count X-370 as vintage, and if not only 1, no Brownies though.
