Macro Lens With Some Test Shots - Topic

Fixed the lens so it's not fogged up anymore, which is great, thought it was gonna be stuck that way. The pictures with the macro lens aren't too great, still trying to figure out how to make a stack image with some better quality.. I think most of my problem is that focusing the lens zooms it in a tiny bit but at that magnification it's significant, I guess the harsh lighting doesn't help much either though...

A few pictures of what it actually is, it's a magnifying lens on top of an 15+ year old lens I tore out of a broken video camera with the video cameras 55mm hood affixed to the bottom of it so it can screw directly on to my lens or any of my future lenses.

Do you use Helicon Focus? IF you do make sure to mount the photo in DOF order. I think you should use a tripod.

For these pictures I did use a tripod, but the camera doesn't stay still enough and like the said, when I focus it on different parts it zooms in and out slightly, but at such a high zoom just a tiny bit is significant.
