first off: what was your first camera like?
then: what do you think I should look for in my first camera?
and lastly: any specific models/companys you would recommend.

I took a semester of photography last year ( my Sr. year of HS) and fell in love with it, just haven't had the time to pursue it much since then. I'm no expert, but I'd like to pick it up again.

I currently have about $300 saved up, but here in the next few months (if I can find a job..... :( ) I should have anywhere from $700+

Everyone on this forum is always supportive and full of advice/knowledge and I can't wait to see what you guys say.
