Hey guys :) Today I got a picture of me surfing for you all >;D Does anyone on d2jsp surf? I personally love it and do it everytime I'm away from home in warmer countries x'D Since I'm in the picture and I'm drenched in water, naturally I didn't take it but my dad took it with my camera. This means if anyone has any critique please critique the PP and not the shot itself :p In fact, the reason I made this thread was to get feedback on the PP as I tried something new this time just by fooling around. I was trying to find a solution to the blown out highlights at the bottom and thought that a graduated filter worked quite nicely. If you don't like it, than I'm gonna use the excuse that this screen is calibrated retardedly :D haha, but let me know what you guys think :) Cheers.

Lol, I've never surfed before, but ALL my clothing is from Boat House.
I wish I had a chance to, but there's like no where here, or in Canada that I know where I could surf...

Hah, it's amazingly fun! :D I've only surfed for maybe two months total... so I'm not THAT good. Although two days ago I started going on a short board and it hasn't been half as hard as I expected. If you ever get the chance to, you should try it :) It takes awhile to get the hang of it... but it's really fun and it's an INSANE workout.

Unfortunately, I have never even tried surfing. I live NO WHERE near any water that can create such waves. That's a cool picture though!

I'm sorry if this is off topic but has anyone seen that ultra wide angle surf camera?

How come? I was thinking that it would work quite the same way a viginette would work, 'cept that a vignette would be inappropriate seeing as I'm not in the center of this shot (and it's cropped like a pano). I had to somehow infuse a darker tone to fix the blown out highlights. Got any advice on how I could do it differently? :d I'm pretty much just experimenting around.

First time was 4 years ago, second time was in the Spring when I went to Florida..

Heh nice >;D The waves here have unfortunately been really small these past days... so no fun for me :( It's so typical as well considering that I need rather large waves to ride a shortboard and of course as soon as I switch to one the waves get smaller x'D Wells.. thanks for you kind comment ^_^
