Dumb question, I know:
When you [yourself] are taking a self portrait, are you using a tripod or just free handing it?
Just curious what you guys do, because when I try it free hand I can't seem to do it right, something always messes up such as the zoom etc. :\

Ehm. I think it is a personal style to choose. But, I use a tripod and a remote trigger since it is more handy. But I think a wide-angle freehand looks great!
You can crop your photo if you mess up the zoom. :)

You know you should try to take a close up picture of yourself with your Sigma 10-20 lens :D
Those wide angle lenses could give some funny distortions.

It really depends on what kind self portrait you want to take I mean you would need extremely long arms if you wanna take a full body portrait of yourself :p
