Hey guys ..

So I got this setting on my camera and I'm not quite sure what it does..

Because it shows three arrows at the exposure (ie. -0.7, 0 and +0,7) like a HDR, BUT it only shots one time?

Is it because it's shooting with all three settings at the same time, or did I do something wrong? :)

I took this picture with the setting of my favourite model:

I can't really see if this is HDR or just an ordinary shot!! Heeeeelp :D

I believe that setting is just so that you can easily over/under expose for that one shot... HDR's are edited from three images merged together with one under exposed, one over exposed, and one at proper exposure... Read the manual if you have it, I'd imagine there is a way to take three shots with three different settings at the same time which you'd then be able to turn into HDR...

To make an HDR you need to use computer software, you cannot produce an HDR image in-camera.
What I think you did is braketing.

Bracketing is the first step of HDR ... so you will need something like Photo Shop or Photomatix

Thanks! I couldn't find anything about it in my manual :)
so the camera basicly "took 3 images" and chosed the best one?

bracekting is used to make sure u get a workable expouser, generally in changing light coniditons. it shoots i shot underexpoused, 1 correct, and 1 over. u determin the amount over over under so +-.5 is a half stop +-1 is 1 stop
