Ok the other day I posted pictures comparing neutral color settings and vivid color settings.

Now I found somewhere on my camera for manual settings...
In this I can play with saturation, contrast and 'netteté' (sharpness?).
So I took a picture of my backyard with vivid colors, then the same picture with max saturation and low contrast.
They are not necessarily posted in that order btw...

To be honest, even if you all talk about saturation in your comments of other people's pictures, I do not understand it much..

I am hoping someone could guide me here with the 2 pictures with different settings....

Saturation is the intensity of colors... The first photo has more intense colors and is therefore more saturated than the second...

Yep. Just think about what the word itself means and it will be logical. The more saturated the colors appear, the more saturation the photo pertains.

hope that this shows it good while "contrast" did not get the way i wanted it to ^^
but i think you can se the diffrence
