I was getting out of the house to go pick up the kids at day camp, then was going straight to the grocery store.
Nothing new there.
Except you guys (ofc I have to blame someone) got me so addicted to photography, that I couldn't leave the house without my camera.
Well, for me it's kinda easy cause it fits in my purse...
But even on my way to the store, I managed to find something to take pictures off... clouds in the stormy sky...

Last night was my son's soccer practice, and ofc then also I had to bring my camera and I took many pictures of a rainbow and the kids playing soccer on a muddy field...

I now feel that I can't leave my camera at home, for fear of missing any good shot...

So this poll is for fun ofc, trying to figure out your addiction to this wonderful hobby

yes, it is a wonderful hobby, but I dont make pics, I just watch and rate them GL with your hobby!

I am kind of in the middle of these two

- If I go somewhere I think there would be good opportunities
- Everywhere I go.

Sometimes I'll take it if I feel there is a good opportunity. And sometimes I'll just leave it at home because i feel there is no opportunity... but then an opportunity appears out of no where and I don't have my camera. Lately I've been taking it everywhere I go.

its good to take it everywhere you go...that way you will never miss an opportunity. on the other hand, its good sometimes to just appreciate something, and take a mental picture... A 'turner' painting for example, one of the most beautiful pieces of art, and he did that all without a camera, just from his memory

i take mine when i want...depends if im feeling it or not

Everywhere.
(Except some places. Like, everywhere that is possible, or ideal.)
So like, if I go for a drive, walk, bike, etc. I bring it.

If I go out to a fancy restaurant to eat, of course I don't.


I'm thinking of getting a 3rd camera LOL.
A small, "sleek" P&S that I can have in my pocket 24/7.

Haha - I was thinking that too.

I usually take it whenever I'm gone for more then a day or I think I might get some good shots. So I picked other. I would take it everywhere I go but I'm too paranoid about something happening to it or don't feel like lugging it around for a few hours.




I had considered this too, but I'm broke and would rather get a new lens first.

I dont own a decent camera, But I do constantly just think to myself, Damn that would make a good looking photo
