the 2 jousting photos needed a faster shutter speed or possibly longer if your gunna follow the subject with the camera either way they make my eyes hurt they aren't quite right

When I used a faster shutter speed I didn't quite get the effect I was looking for. Its something I try to get better at whenever I get the chance.

First one is a bit over exposed near the top, the joust is really cool, too bad the knight wasn't sharper.
It was an immensely bright day. While the background is over exposed the dog is spot on. It was hard to get good shots that day. Yeah Its hard to cover the motion of a horse. Its up and down as well as forward.

the fourth is awesome
They actualy had the bird fly and land just over our heads as we sat on the ground. I was unable to get a shot worth keeping.

2nd is fantastic.
Perfect motion blur with the correct shutter speed which kept the horse/knight in focus.
Great.
Thank you both. I just wish the knight was a teeeny bit sharper.
