program we like is Gimp - Gnu Image Manipulating Program
wich allready can tell you that its is Programmed open source and therefor Freeware

working with version 2.4

well decided to first tell you how to use "Heal"
later i perhaps show you more :)

choose heal:

( next you need to chose a pencil first - i like : "circle fuzzy" for this job)
chose a place that is simmilar to the place you wanna heal by pressing strg and klicking to that place
not gimp will take the info from this first place and will transfrom it to the place you will (klick or )slide your mouse over next

same direction you are moving your muse the selected place #1 will move

test it its very isey

this topic gave me the need of writing here
http://forums.d2jsp.org/index.php?showtopic=32402414&f=265

this was my quick results in learing this application of gimp in ~ 20 minutes

Only problem is with what you did is you can easily see the wires on the second, not what they are, but there are streaks of distortion in a two lines across the clouds on the top.
