I got some fireworks too but I haven't got around to choosing the good ones out of the 100 or so, so I'll post them later.

In Pennsylvania your aren't allowed to legally set off the bigger fireworks like rockets and stuff that fly into the air without a dynamite license, which costs about $20,000 a year. Since I don't have one we can only set off little ground fountains and other small things, but in my opinion I think these little ones make pretty good pictures.

a license o_O that sucks... i suppose its safer tho as we have kids with rockets running around ... not so great.

really nice shots anyhow, maybe crop them closer so all you see are the sparks ?

I wish we didn't need a license, we have gone to other states and bought fireworks and set off bigger ones like the ones you see in shows but its about a 10 hour drive to the closest store and it's still illegal.. They look so much better though..

I would but you can't really see them because it's a 8 second shutter so all you see are the streaks.
