It was a pretty long lightning storm. Could have gotten some cool colored clouds but didn't have my camera with me in time! When will I ever learn... didn't take many photos since I had someone with me at the time...

I was wondering the same thing... I really couldn't tell you. The sun was completely down...



It isn't as hard as it looks. Try a low ISO with a looong shutter speed, like 30 seconds and see how it goes

Does anyone maybe have some cool ideas for lightning shots?

I've been wanting to get one recently... Weather hasn't been too cooperative... I want this specific water tower as the main subject of the shot, with lightning behind it... I've had this shot in mind for like a month now...

Oh nice - that would be hard to get since lightning isn't always in the same spot!
