Well today I went for a walk to go buy a fan with my dad and as we were on our way home I randomly decided to go into a camera store. As some of you may or may not know I've been longing for a 50mm ever since I got into photography and it was just my luck that this camera store had a used one. It was a bargain deal for almost half the original price and it was in perfect condition :) Since I've been working lately I also had just enough money for it ^_^ So far I'm BEYOND satisfied with the performance of it and it would be fair to say that I'm in love  . To spice up this topic a bit I'll provide you guys with some of the first quick snaps I took with it. Nothing too fancy but I hope you'll enjoy anyways! Oh, and lastly - Expect the majority of my future photos to be shot with this <3 I can't wait to take some portraits.

#1 My love in all her beauty <3 Taken with my kit-lens.

#2 My dog to help illustrate exactly how insane the DoF on this thing is

#3 My dog again, this time without any real point haha

#4 Some lavender (?) flowers on my balcony

#5 MOAR flowers <3

#6 My dad's mac once again to illustrate the sexy DoF

Yeah! The light-sensitivity is really insane. I noticed SUCH a difference when I switched back to my kitlens to take a picture of it. Had to take on iso 400 as opposed to iso 100 + high shutter on my 50mm. :D Thanks <3

Thanks :) The funny thing is that the lavender shot has only been cropped. The colors were like that from default D; The colors on this lens are insane as well x'D

The 1.8 is an amazing lens for low light, I end up using that for wedding receptions when I don't need a wide angle.

^_^ Yep. It's sexy for portraits. So you do professional photography? :O Didn't know that.

You don't always have to be professional to take wedding photos :) I could have done a wedding but they canceled it! :O I was kind of thankful they canceled it though, I didn't have near as much gear as I do now!
