I know I made a similar thread to this a month or two ago, but that was when I wasn't sure on what I was getting.
I'm getting about almost 350 dollars for grading and I will be getting my first job soon to help pay.
The camera is:
Nikon D60 10.2MP Digital SLR Camera With 18-55mm Lens Kit
$499.99
Future shop, of course.
Post your own thoughts on the subject if you wish.
I can't wait to start contributing pictures to this place, instead of admiring and wishing I had a camera.

The D60 is very nice as a starter camera, but I would recommend getting some nice glass for it if you want some awesome quality pictures.

Well, depending on how far you'd want to go with photography - I'd suggest getting a fairly cheap camera body and the spending the rest on lenses.
I've already easily quadrupled what I spend on my camera for a few lenses.

If you upgrade to a better camera, you can still use your lenses. That way the investment is not lost.

Well, I've always enjoyed photography since I was a child but never had the quality camera to capture what I wanted.
And I was thinking about making a career out of it.
