wow! Beautiful shot. What settings did you take it on? I've always wanted to be able to take fireworks shots myself but have never been successful with it (granted when I tried it I had only had my camera for 3-4days).

this was actually my first attempt at firework shooting last night :D, I tried many different settings, but this shot was 18 secs at f10, iso 100 (tho i did up the exposure half a stop in post-processing, as well as a little brightness/contrast setting and stuff like that)


firework shooting seems to be ALOT of luck, but you also just have to listen when you hear the motors being shot up so you can catch em

haha I remember hearing a loud boom every time they fired those things so you get like a half second to get ready to press the shutter button xD



Well those new year fireworks are lame compared to those festival fireworks. There was a summer festival in Stockholm last year maybe they will have it this year as well. I think it's sometime in August
