So... I tried to portrait something more powerful with this one. Not sure if it worked. I've been doing a lot of self-portraits lately
mainly due to the fact that I love portraits and I have no one to model. It was taken in complete darkness with lighting set up on the side.

Maybe a little bit to dark for my liking..

But i like the thing you did with the hair and the lightning :)

Thanks :) All my pictures tend to be too dark. My monitor is calibrated rather brightly as well so I've a feeling it appears even darker on other screens.

what types of lighting did you use?

Hah, no probs :P Well, I'm a poor teenager so I used (don't laugh since I'm from Sweden ._.") a clip-on ikea light. It works quite well to use as a directional light actually. The only down-side as you can see are the harsh shadows.

nice!!! DIY lighting is the best way to go :D

Haha, I feel so cool x3 The only downside as mentioned are the darned shadows x3

I quiet like the shadows :) but then so far, i really have NO idea about photography :P

I like the lightning and the composition, but like the other have said it is a bit dark.
Cool hair too. xD
