So it's been 6 months i'm waiting to buy a new camera.

This morning , i decided to go to ottawa to buy one at henry's.

On the internet they had an used Canon 450 D (or rebel xsi) for 499,99.

Fortunately , it was sold. Fortunately ? How so.

Well, i went to buy a new canon d60 for 498,99$ with the basic lens.

When i came home, my mother said she was a photograph when she was young and told me she had some nikon stuff.

So i found 3 lenses (nikkor 105mm, nikkor 35mm and an other random one in the past they cost like 200-350$)

So i try them on my camera, and guess what, they fit perfecly and they are as clean as new.

So yeah, recharging my battery, going shooting outside and wednesday i'm going at a paintball game to take photos of my friends playing :D

This is the camera, a nice picture so it's related to photography :)

Great you just saved a lot of money! :)
Do the AF works on the old lenses? (Ah, you are still recharging?)

Post some photos when you get 'em.

I dont think so.... :S I think the D60 requires the lenses to have af.

Ooops, yes nikon i mean. The old lenses fit on the d60 and when i look in the little hole for my eye (whatever it is called) the image looks very clear and the dof is fabulous.

Edit : Dang the old lenses are not detected. fuck. 2 bad imma keep my normal one :(

it got me confused, because i thought you needed a converter to use nikon lenses on a canon.

but i guess you meant nikon camera.

Those lenses SHOULD work... BUT you have to shoot fully manual...

From the catalog:

Compatible Lenses
AF-S and AF-I NIKKOR: All functions supported
Type G or D AF NIKKOR not equipped with an autofocus motor: All functions supported except autofocus.
Type G or D AF NIKKOR not equipped with an autofocus motor: All functions supported except autofocus.
IX-NIKKOR and AF-NIKKOR for F3AF not supported.
Type D PC NIKKOR: All functions supported except some shooting modes.

I pretty much only use older lenses with my D80. Everyone says you can't use old lenses, and that is quite frankly a load of shit.
