I don't really have much experience to comment on them... but personally I dislike them a lot >< They feel so damn cheap and flimsy imo (the ones that I've tried). Never thought much about them quality wise though as I've never had a nikkor / canon lens on the side to compare with.

kk thanks cause i was looking at a package on eebay and there was a canon 450D or rebel xsi if you prefer for 540 $ CD with 2 tamron lenses tripod etc...

My advise. Get the 450D Kit, instead of 2 lenses. :)

agreed. I bought the 450D along with the kit lens (18-55mm) and a 55-250mm and it was a fantastic package for the price. I would go as far as saying that it would be the best bang for your buck package offered right now. (that a the 50m f/1.8 :) )
