I think the black and white is making the cat harder to see when it is in the grass. Maybe it is the ninja-cat you are trying to show? xD
But if you want us to see the cat, try to find a plain texture.

Try to shoot some more.

Cat doesn't have a name yet...
And reason for black and white is the awful yellow like color of the older barn... it's really ugly.....

I find there is not enough contrast in my pictures though, but I don't know if it's possible to change it on my camera settings...

She is still very scared and not that easy to approach...
