Spida! Quick - run!

These were all taken in 2006 - just thought I'd share some of my spider adventures. All with a P&S camera, hah.

I am actually trying to figure out what this spider is called; if anyone knows please say!

1. spida #1 - in the corner of the huge picture window of the house


2. Spida #2 - again in the picture window


3. Spida #3 - *GASPS FOR AIR* HES IN THE MAIL BOX...


4. Spida #4 - still in the mail box!!!!!! Just imagine... the mail man putting the mail in there, and then my mom or dad taking it out! Ahahaha.


And to whoever reported every single post in the other thread, seriously, get a life and don't even bother coming in here. There were posts that were ON TOPIC that were reported. Just stop.

do mediators not review a thread before its closed or do they trust people who report several on-topic posts?

i like the bright bokeh on the first, which really contrasts the spider


how big was that spider like 4 inch?

I have no clue, I honestly do not know why it was closed. Spam: off topic posts was the "reason" but there wasn't any spam in my thread in my eyes...

Dorsal view of an orbweaver, Araneus sp., Oct/96, Ojibway. This is the largest genus of spiders with over 1,500 species worldwide. Several species are found in southern Ontario.
