i croped the photos a bit, but i do have the orginals i can post if need be

i spent about 20-30 mins playing with this guy to get him/her in the right spots

first couple shots have a blue hue to em it was my led flash light.

BTW these where all macro shots about 1-2 cm away from the subject as for the last one i got with in 5mm or less

that bar in the last pic was just bigger then a pencil

it was about 2-3 inches long hte body was about 1.5 long

the first 2 pics its on a bounce fabric sheet

i sould have droped a quarter to show the size sorry but i didnt wana spook it or piss it off anymore then it was lol

it was attacking the rod you see in teh last pic that was my tool for moveing it around

Whoa!! I love these kinds of photos, haha. These are awesome! My favourite is #3 - how he is all sprawled out and very close to the "ground" xD Freaky indeed, but interesting !

ya i can tell you like my bug ones lol

this guy was very very co-opertive with the photos didnt run to much

it was shot on super macro in program and manual modes

and a i had a normal flashlight to give it more light i was in a dark spot.

Ahh - yes, little compacts like that do have amazing depth of field - haha - and I do remember you posing bug shots before they were awesome.
