Well yea, what the title says, I feel stupid. I have been using the auto setting on my camera since I started photography and have been stuck having to try and take tons of photos of the same thing only to get maybe a single good shot. So I would end up going out and taking 200 shots and getting maybe 5 good photos, I just switched onto manual to try it for a bit and there are so many things I didn't know even existed on it. Like a flexifocus, and a way to control the flash by 1/8ths from 1-8 and a whole myriad of things I didn't know about before. I just went out and took about 20 photos and I think I got some decent ones.

#1 and #3 look great man! :) Manual is always the way to go <3 What you just said kind of reminds me of people in my age group who get their parents to buy them really expensive DSLRs only to use them on auto. Makes me want to cut myself or something :c Great for you though ;D

x'D I shot with a G9 for six months before I got mine and than I randomly got it as a Christmas present last year :) I don't know how it happened as my parents aren't the type to shower me with expensive stuff, but it did and I'm incredibly thankful for it since x3 I've had awesome luck with photography as I have several relatives who are professionals and hence lots of gear I can lend from time to time :) I've actually never had a hobby that I've stuck to before like I am with photographing and I do feel I'm getting better after each shoot :d

Cool, I am kinda likewise not having a hobby I could stick too, about 5 months ago I started photography and bought myself a bass guitar and I've been sticking with them, and now I bought myself that camera.

hmm what the hell is flexifocus? Anyway I also switched to full manual mode not long ago after have been shooting with shutter priority and aperture priority for a long time xD and I find it great course it let me take full control over what I wanted to do especially when I want to get some nice blurred background ^^

Flexifocus is a setting on my camera that allows me to put a box around what I want the camera to focus on and it will focus on whatever the box is on and near.

Timeburners.com :D If you want to see my website, I didn't make that template, I had one that I made and then my website got wiped and me being and idiot never backed up my arcade script or template and have been too lazy to remake.

I too love web design, I can't constantly do it like with photography, I keep going on and off with it because of my terrible internet.

Only done one before, and it's been offline awhile now :( I've just finished a portfolio (not for me) which will be up in a week or so, so I can link you up than if you want x3 Once that deal's done I'm doing a photo gallery for a carpenter (http://www.mfsnickeri.se/ - damn simple task x3). I'm no pro or anything naturally, but I've gone a year of webdesign and know html/css fluently :>

edit* @futu haha x'D Det har du försökt mobba mig för innan redan ju! :d
