Nice picture, but the green looks kinda unrealistic...

HDR = High Dynamic Range.
You select 3 or more photos and combine them. An overexposed, a normal exposed and an underexposed. Then you see more details like the human eye can. The difference between underexposed part of a photo and the overexposed part of a photo, and of cause the normal. ;)

I like this picture very much.
I agree with MotherOfTwo, but I like how it looks. I like the color transitions from blue --> gray --> orange'ish --> green

Of cause a tripod is required, and I use one. But in the time it took to take 3 photos the skies moved. ;)
Of cause the HDR photo is heavily edited with saturation and such. But you will be very surprised!
