Hello

I'm wishing to get a new camera and I'm stuck between the Panasonic TZ5 and the TZ6. This is pretty confusing because the TZ6 is an upgrade to the TZ4 whereas the TZ7 (ludicrously expensive) is the upgrade to the TZ5.
Some of the TZ5 is upgraded in the TZ6 and some is actually downgraded. For instance the TZ6 has a better lens (12x over 10) But looses screen resolution, screen size and HD movie abilitys.

There isn't much difference in the price, the TZ6 being around £20 more expensive. There is limited information available on the TZ6, because most people are interested in the TZ5 and 7.


If anyone has had any experience or knowledge of which camera I should get, any input is gratefully accepted.

I have heard that Panasonic makes some of the best compacts out there with quite good high ISO performance compared to the others.

I have also heard some really good things about Fuji F200 EXR which is around the same price as TZ5.

Btw why do you want to get a p&s anyway? especially those very expensive ones. I'd rather save some money to buy a better body but it's just me though lol.
