ISO 640 on a 450D?? I prefer to manually select my ISO 100% of the time, because the camera usually puts it too high
Breezer looks cool, only thing i could fault is the white/cream object behind him, it doesnt show Breezer up as well.
Manual ISO is the best, like you said the camera puts it too high.

The first one looks like it is out of focus.
I always love your dog photos.

But like doyleo I would have preferred a clean background.
