why was that topic of me giving away free LEGIT copy of photoshop closed? Reason why closed it says that its software piracy, but program is legit so nothing to do with piracy..

allso im not asking enything for it, so its not a trade topic. Its a photo editing program, so imo topic is photography related allso.

before someone closes this, answer me or i make these topics as long as i get the answer for my question.

I'm pretty sure if you read the TOS on the program it says not to give it away. I could be wrong, but I know on a lot of programs it is like that, such as Microsoft Office. If not then I don't think it should have been closed.

i dont know what TOS is, but it only says i cant sell that copy seperatly, and im not selling it

TOS = Terms Of Service

doesent say enything about that. It just came as loose cd in paper covers with my scanner and in those paper covers there is sticker for cd-key

When you try to install the program it will bring up the TOS and ask you to accept or decline them.

ah havent readed those, but still it cant be illegal to give it away for free. You cant make legal terms that say that program can be only used by someone who bought the scanner. Naturally it can say that you cant sell it and says that, but im not selling it

Yea, well then who ever locked your topic needs to unlock it and read the thread better. Unless there is a rule on JSP about giving away software.

Whatever is it for free distribution or for money, jsp is not the place to do it.
