Friendliest dog ever, she calms right up when you walk towards her, as you can probably tell in the photos:

Again, having fun with the low f number lens.

hahaha! awww she is shooo cute! lol
I just wish the dogs here in Regina are as nice and cute as your neighbors dog :(

Just a short story. I was out taking picture earlier today and I saw this cute black cat sitting near a fence and I approached it and tried to pet it but all of the sudden I heard some stupid dog barking from the other side of that fence which scared both me and that cat lol I guess we both jumped at the same time :D

anyway I really like the shallow DOF in some of the pics and the way she winked at you hahaha

Lol - I've never seen a dog this nice before. It's incredibly friendly, comes right up to you if it can. You sure do find a lot of random cats...

Yeah I wish all the dogs here are as friendly as your neighbors :( and it's soo damn cute too lol
Well first of all I guess I usually walk around a lot when taking pictures just to find different things and interesting objects and living beings to take pictures of and of course there is also a trick to make cats want to approach you and not get scared away. When you see a cat all you have to do is slowly approach it and get lower on the ground either on your knees or whatever and stretch out one of your arms as if you were going to give it a snack or something lol. Unless it's a very shy cat they would normally approach you and lean against your legs and wanted to get pet hahaha ^_^

Haha. Lovely expressions! :D
I would like a dog like that, calm and sweet.

But I think they are a bit overexposed?

Haha - yeah, that first one is over exposed for sure, but I wanted to share it cause she was so cute there patiently waiting for me to come over. The white fur probably appears more bright since it's against black, so I don't really know if it's over exposed? lol

Haha - that's what I do with dogs, except I don't approach them nor do I go lower to the ground; I usually let em approach me.

I have also discovered how hard it is to take pictures of animals with black fur I mean if you want the background to get a proper exposure then the animal itself would be a lil bit underexposed and vice versa lol

lmao! Well many cats are usually a bit shy when they are outside and so you have to be patient and lure them if you want them to approach you. I think by standing straight would make you too big or whatever for them to dare to dare to get close to you. I normally wouldn't dare to pet dogs I see on the streets especially when their owners are around. I guess I could be such a wuss sometimes lol
