Cheap and Lens, flash or anything to do with photography can never be in the same sentence, it's illegal. lol!

I wouldn't buy Nikon lenses for a Canon, because they are Nikon. Canon + Canon = Win. Canon + Nikon = Canikon. Wtf?

Canon 580Ex II If you have about $400-500 I believe.
Canon 430ExII If you have $300
Canon 420ExII If you have around $100. (eebay.)

Flashes are definitely fun to play around with, and once to get used to the controls of the flash you can get into strobing, which is using off camera flash to give some very interesting lighting effects. ( http://www.flickr.com/groups/strobist/ )
I use a 420, the cheapest of them, and it works perfect for what I do, so with that, I'd assume the higher end ones would definitely be better!

I also believe Canon just released a 2xx series budget flash.

well your definition of cheap or expensive might be different then what i would consider cheap/expensive!

youre just not a nikon fan!!! but ive seen some work by people who use nikon lenses and they look amazing.
plus nikon lenses look a lot better than canon. i hate the way canon lenses look. lenses should have style too!!

and thanks for the flash information ^_^

Lol maybe so, but Cheap is quite hard for me :(
Could be because of the L quality lenses I buy though, my 70-200 was around $700. Not cheap. (But not too expensive)
My next purchase is a 500mm. (Used probably.)

I also know that a lot of camera shops have lens rentals, you should take a look at that. (I know I am thinking about it!)

I wouldn't buy both a Wide angle and a fisheye, they both do the same thing in the long run, which is give you wider views.
(Unless you want a bit of vertical too.)
