this weekend, i went to a place called jacob's Geodes located near Keokuk Iowa.

Heres the pictures of some of the geodes that i found (cleaned and cracked when i got home)

ya so perty...

all those other rocks are also geodes, i just havent smashed them open yet.

that very last picture, that geode, i had to get the sludge hammer and a axe head to break it open. these buggers are crazy hard to break

I dunno...It really doesn't grab my attention at all.
I also don't see any photographic skills implied in these shots o.O

I can see how they could be Macro shots, but I don't understand the backgrounds, or the battery :(

However, I do think they have potential as great subjects.
I think if you work on the Macro, and the clarity you could get some pretty inspiring shots such as these I found from various Galleries:

I am not a photographer, nor will i ever be, i just posted them here to show the general public. i dont know what a "macro shot" is and the background is a towl sitting on my kitchen counter cus they are wet cus i just cleaned the clay off of them. and the battery is a indicator of size because of the zoom, they kind of look like they are alot bigger than they really are.
