Got out of a 10 hour work day [took someones morning shift since they couldn't come in] and wanted to try out more manual-mode shots and figured at night was a good chance.
The sun had pretty much gone down, but I got one shot I kinda liked.
I took it at 400 ISO, should I have lowered it or risen it?

Anyway, tell me when you think ^_^

Thought the clouds looked pretty cool with the sunset, but might be a little too "plain Jane"

Ah, yeah I like the manual mode better than any other setting on my camera ^_^ glad to see you're using it, it takes a little bit to get used to; I'm still learning stuff on it!

Next time try taking more than one photo of this. Try one with 100 ISO, 400, etc just to see what you get! Sometimes the colors can slightly change and it might look better. Take a few shots at slightly different settings and see what you get :)

typically when you are shooting at night, you should be using a tripod. since you are using a tripod you will be able to use a longer shutter speed without blurring!

so I suddjest next time using ISO 100 and then using a longer shutter speed to gain the same exposure :) this will typically result in less noise!

Yeah I took some at 400 and 800 but it's hard to take night shots since I don't have a tripod :\

Yeah I really need to get a tripod.
The cheapest one I've seen lately is $150 tho :\
