Well hello there!

We all love our front element to be perfectly clean, don't we? So I went to this camera shop and got a kit to clean the front element and the camera sensor. You get:
-High performance liquid cleaner
-Rocket air blower/puffer
-Attachment brush for the blower/puffer
-Cleaning paper

I feel it was a right bargain for a penny under a tenner.

I used the blower to clean all the dust off and it worked really well, the front element was looking lovely by this time, so I didn't need to use the fluid. At the minute I haven't done too much lens swapping and the EOS cleaning stuff seems to be keeping the sensor dust free.

But I also have a question - what should the cleaning paper be used for?

Yep! Lens pens ftw ^^
It's faster, easier and maybe even safer way to clean a lens since it doesn't use any kind of liquid that could damage the coatings.

yes, but this kind of set is better for it, but imo not that much better that i would pay so much more for it. I only had to use the pen once on the sensor, and that was on my old 1d that has no sensor clean system

I would never use a $9 liquid to clean my $700 lens lol.
"You get what you pay for"

I do use a $10 blower though, and a $30 microfiber cloth ^_^ They work well.

microfiber is expensive lol. It's microfiber.

I bought it for my computers processor, and I already installed it so I use it for lens now.

And yeah, I used to have a $10 lenns pen, those don't really get any more expensive.
but $10 liquid to clean lens, I would never trust that on a expensive lens.

really?
microfibre cloth for precision optics are seriously cheap in the UK

What's the point of spending so much to clean a bit of glass? A tenners worth of liquid will remove smudges and will not harm the glass in anyway
