Those are some colorful and cool looking ships
Maybe it's just me but I think you should have walked closer so you would have that ugly tire thing in the foreground but nice and colorful shot though

Thing is I wanted that ugly tire in the pic - so that those colorful and cool looking ships had something opposite of them

That was like the 2nd day I've had my DSLR

And of course I used no photoshop in here - so it's just like "plain" pic

Oh I see you are like me then. I don't like to use Photoshop much either other than resizing and cropping ^^
So what camera and lens did you use for that picture?

that's an interesting picture

maybe just for fun you could try selective colouring - choose on boat to remain colourful and then de-saturate the rest of the picture until it's black and white.

Probably just me but I really don't like the tire being there in that picture. It ruins the picture overall imo.

But those are nice ships!

I really like the picture, and the tire is at a good spot. But I think you should have get a more blue or detailed sky.
