I like the 2nd last best, the little house on the corner.
I think the girl in the red dress adds some contrast to the house, and then the detail in the house is great.
As well as composing to include that big yellow overhanging street sign!

Thanks everyone for the comments. I was kinda surprised to find so many interesting things when I walked down a very long street on a nice late afternoon.

I'm glad you like it. I was kinda surprised by the nice background blur created by my lens at f/4 and I can only imagine how nice it would have been if I had the 50mm f/1.8.

Well I have been experimenting quite a lot lately lol and I will definitely try out more stuff later on when I get more lenses. Sooooooooo do you have any suggestions or ideas? :p

Ok! So I went and bought an EF 50mm f/1.8 II earlier today. Well the local camera store here didn't have one in stock but they did have an used one so I bought it instead plus a UV filter ^^
I took a couple of test shots earlier and I really like the very very blurred background and that I could take a half decent picture even when it's very dark. Btw I have a question for you guys.
I am kinda used to shoot with a lens that got image stabilizer so I could use very slow shutter speed without getting very blurry pictures but since the 50mm lens doesn't have IS I kinda wonder which is the slowest recommended shutter speed when shooting with that lens?

anyway here is a test shot taken with my "new" lens at maximum or close to maximum aperture and ISO 3200
