just bear in mind that I used a point andshoot for all of these and This was really the first time i tried using my manual settings on my camera "digital elf" power shot

most of these are from the Botanical garden in Brooklyn.

Hopefully I am not breaking any rules by posting so many pics..but let me know if i have. Also let me know what you think of the pics. I tried to put on an artistic hat for a couple days. I was pleased but I would like to know what others think.

The first picture is quite interesting and has this really nice retro look kinda makes you wonder if it was one of those old photographs but those pics of a bee and flowers could have been much better if your camera focused on the bee instead of the flowers.
...and personally I think the last picture would have been better if you used color instead of b&w because all those modern stuff in it lol it could be just me though . They are all nice pictures and I've always wanted to visit NYC and hopefully one day I will be the one posting those kind of pictures in here

the last picture had color huh, you mean like this?

because I was relatively new to using my camera I ended up taking multiple shots with different colors and such. I ended up likeing the b&w the most becaue I caught that seagull flying in it.
As for the flower pics, i had a hard enough time just trying to take a picture that had something clear in it. Those flowers were tiny and my camera does not zoom in so i was on my hands and knees lol. Anyway thanks for your input!

uhhh never mind what I said about the last picture. To me the boat in the foreground kinda ruined the skyline which in my opinion is more interesting Maybe you should have got on one of those boats and take some pictures.
