So I recently bought a 450D and have learned a lot so far, just wanted to share some pictures I took of a place called "The Millcroft Inn"

All of these were hand held with the 450D's Kit lens - I also tried for the first time shooting in RAW, I can see the advantages! I bumped up the colour saturation and sharpness a bit in DPP:

This was handheld at 1/2 second (Next time I'm going to bring a tripod) :

Very nice waterfall for a hand held.
I think the 1st would look really nice with a longer shutter speed like the third, but as you said I think you would need a tripod for that

Once the weather gets a bit warmer I'm going to go take a picture of it at night - they have lights set up and everything - it looks amazing!
