I found this cute little yellow spider in the backyard and had the bright idea to show it to my daughter...
Of course, daughter thought the spider was cute and wanted to keep it as a pet... ya right....
I love spiders, but outside and not inside....
So she asks mom (me) to put the spider is a clear bottle to bring to grand-ma's house cause we were on our way to have dinner there... 30 minute drive...

Best way to get rid of a spider, is to tell daughter that we will take pictures of it and set it free after biggrin.gif
My mom has a great rose garden, so the spider got a new home and I had a friendly spider acting as model for some cool shots......

Haha. It reminds me of when I was young and I wanted beetles as pets. xD

What a cool spider! Wonderfull colors. biggrin.gif
I really like photo number 2, because the spider is in focus and the background is not.
The last one is a good macro in my opinion.

You should buy a dslr soon. biggrin.gif

Well for someone who has spiderphobia I can't really agree that this spider is cute lol especially with that huge fat belly but it's a cool shot though and it really made me looking forward to my very first summer here in Canada.
The weird thing is I used to have all sort of bugs and small creatures as pets when I was little except for spiders of course. I think the most cute bug I've ever had were those big and fat silkworms and those huge green grasshoppers happy.gif

Holy crap! That spider is pretty yellow! I've never seen it before... are they quite common there? Looks poisonous!

Those first two are my favourite xD

Edit: Oh, and it has a big butt! Haha.
