Finally got the computer back, and CS3, and all my plug-ins smile.gif

Seriously, you should not just back up your photos, but I would suggestion backing up some of your most played games, music etc.
Lost my entire iTunes library, some good movies, and a lot of games.

Downloading all my games back now from Steam, it takes forever sad.gif

Here's a photo I was going to upload before it crashed:

ps: See that little white sign on the right hand side of the inner fence?
It states "Drive as if everyone's watching you...they are!"
I kinda laughed, because it's so true. You always watch them driving, looking for them to
be hypocritically breaking some sort of law. (Or, at least I do lol!)

Not too sure I'd call that cinematic,if you want cinematic I know there's a photographer that sets up his photos like a film set, but his name escapes me at the moment.

Yeah, not that cinematic..just kinda like it. It can be whatever you want, cinematic shots are just screenshots from films.
Cinematic shots are the darker, contrasted images that are screen shots from a film, either in wide screen format or full screen. (Most often wide-screen, that's why I have bars on top/bottom^_^)
A friend of mine is big into filming/producing, he taught me this.

Check out his videos if you want, they are actually pretty cool:

True, but films (the good kind anyway) tend to often have distinct visual styles. It's annoying me that I can't think of this guys name, I know I've mentioned him before on the forums, but he sets up some amazing photos.

I'm presuming your one isn't a screenshot from a film, but is just something you knocked up in Ps?

Ahaha reminded me of the movie...

Yeah, I had got the full Nik software plug-in for CS3 the day my computer crashed and never got a chance to use it..
Now that I have it back and running I finally get a chance and it's got some really cool abilities.

Remembered the photographer's name last night, had to jot it out in my Moleskine before my memory died again.

It's Gregory Crewdson, here's some of his stuff.

Yeah, those are pretty nice shots.
They seem like they might be from older movies too.
