This one is my attempt:



Here are a few done by other people, I think it is a really really cool effect, like a tiny town!!




I'll probably make a video tutorial when I get my computer back later today. (Depending on if all my software is still on it, or if the HD got wiped..which will SUCK BIG TIME.)

ur foreground blur makes absolutely no sense and looks really awkward. correct me if I´m wrong but thats not normal and not good to the eyes.

It's what tilt shift is...the lens barrel tilts either vertically or horizontally giving blur on both sides which makes the illusion of everything to appear tiny.....
Do you even know anything about tilt-shift? Do some research.

the main thing that attracts me to tilt and shift (I might buy the 90mm soon) is the fact that it can give you more depth by tilting the focus plane.
The miniature effect is cool and all but it gets old really fast IMO.
I am still undecided cause I am kind of afraid of a manual focus only lens that I will be using for hand held portraits mostly.

That's the general idea, it makes everything look like they're miniature toys.

yeh i had a lil google but didn't pull any decent articles wasn't sure if u could do it with toys tho ; now that could be interesting smile.gif
