Got this on my first attempt, 6 picture burst and this one turned out
Love it!!!

Only post processing was White Balance tweak and a bit of clarity fixing with the strawberry, and then a bit of "un-clarifying" the backdrop and splash droplets.

Very nice!!
It would be interesting to see your set up for this as well, if you have a chance to post it....

half of it is black imo it would look better with the spoon 1/3 lower so the splash can extend further

Well, I used a black backdrop behind the sink, then my mom held the spoon above the sink with some milk in it
Then she dropped a grape as I drove burst mode and got each frame, and this one looked the best

I setup my tripod, with the flash directed at the ceiling in front of sink.

The colours on the strawberry look a bit wrong for some reason, and I'm not too sure about the spoon, would be better if it was angled slightly so you could see more of the milk.

Kinda hard to tilt spoon without it spilling out haha.

Change the camera angle then

yah it looks like you boosted the colours... a little to much on the strawberry, but yeah the composition is a little boring, try getting unusaly or off set angles. The center of the picture is the most stable part of a picture, it's to bland and predictable. But dont get me wrong i do like the shot. (rules of thrids)
