hmm I think in this case poor composition is the only reason that makes this picture not very interesting. Well it could be just me though but if I were you I would try to find something a lil bit more interesting than rocks and water. Maybe a setting sun or a cool looking cloud formation in the sky would have made this one whole a lot more interesting. It doesn't matter what camera you use if you don't know where to point the camera the result would be always dull and uninteresting.

The amount of MP do not have anything to do with quality when the picture is small.

It's good for the subject matter, but it lacks a main focus which wrecks the composition. Still, its pretty nice to just stare at nothing but water sometimes. (no sarcasm)

kinda reminds me of gabo island near the lighthouse theres a rockformation that would look like that from the angle although that was covered with seals

i agree that the MP of a camera doesnt really matter

i used to have a 6mp and it took some decent photos when done right

Pretty nice.. I would've maybe tried to get the sun in there if it was available =P.
