I like the sunset pictures but too bad the foreground is dark (I have this same problem, hehe) the skate picture is also good. Some of them are a little dark to my eyes, maybe it's my monitor? ohmy.gif

no they almost all underexposed, the sunset was changing so much and all the others were sorta once off expressions or something like we only got to skate that full pipe for 20 minutes coz i landed in the water wetting it making it unskateable sad.gif so i didn't really have the set up time for most of these that i would have liked, like i just turned the camera on and clicked coz else i would have missed it all together :s and sometimes i forget to change the settings for the light and with my dog he didn't stay in the one spot as soon as i payed any attention to him so getting photos with him was a bit difficult cause the 1st one i just shot didn't change the settings i am kinda like that when i shoot tho click if it looks good move on or if the subject moves, move on ; bit impatient i guess

Okay - then it's not my monitor hehe. Sometimes I think it shows the pictures darker than what they really are.

Yeah - it's no biggie. Think of this one as your learning experience. smile.gif Photography does require a lot of patience to certain things, but eventually you will get it right with practice. After all, SLR's are a little different to use than the normal compact cameras out there.

o i'm not using an slr just my p&s in manual settings and i sometimes forget that then realise when its saving it and shooting in raw on it takes like 30-60 secs to save so things move in that time
