For wet webs, you may want to try to have them with a very dark background but the sunlight on the web only, otherwise the eye gets lost in too much stuff to look at...
The web you have is not an easy one either cause so thick...

Others may have better advice, this is only what I have found when taking pictures of them around the house....
It's usually better very early in the morning, for the orientation of the light...

try not to fill the entire frame with the web. I'm really struggling to see which part you focused on, which wouldnt have been the case if you took a step back. MotherOfTwo is right about the dark backround, this would have helped also.

Im guessing you have a canon SLR so try changing your drive mode to multi shot for the water droplets and u'll prob get a good shot.

Maybe it's just me but all of your pictures look kinda overexposed. I think you should either use a diffuser or something like that.

Haha - the webs are cool, too bad you couldn't get a macro shot of one of them! smile.gif

Haha - I've also tried the droplet thing (a while ago tho) and it didn't work out for me, simply because I had to get too close to the "splashing water" with the lens I had (it didn't zoom in very far) so I then completely lost interest in even risking something like that; I totally failed as well. I plan to try this later though.
