http://www.vistek.ca/store/ProPhotoLightingComponents/227655/elinchrom-el-skyport-universal-trigger-set1xtransimtter1x-receive.aspx

I'm looking for wireless transmitter/transceiver for my camera and flash to make it wireless. (To put it on a stand in front of an umbrella/soft box etc)

ANYWAYS, I want one that my flash fits into a hotshoe directly, and then the other part goes into the hotshoe on my camera.

Does anybody know if these are like that?

Doesn't look like it, but try emailing the shop and see what they say.

I have skyports and they are awesome. You can get a thing/adapter that slides on your hot shoe and gives you a PC sync port.
Easy as pie.

ST-E2 is kind of cool but in sunlight it sucks a little...

Nothing, they it's just they are cheap.
Cheap price usually = cheaply made in Photography.

I was going to buy the 32$ Cactus V2s lol, but after reading a ton of bad reviews
about misfires and everything, I decided not to.

I'll prob. be getting St-E2 tonight. smile.gif

just get some cheap radio transimmers imo. They do the same job as those elichroms, but are cheaper. I dunno about cactus, but atleast what iv heard about random eebay triggers is that they do the job just fine and some of them even supports ettl afaik. I wouldnt use st-e2 other than its infrared focus beam, but it costs hella lot, so imo that isnt a good buy at all
