If you vote yes, please vote here. I have posted this also in the site suggestions, just to see what happens there. Would appreciate the photographers support, anyhow. I imagine most will vote no cause they don't even do photography; but it's worth a shot.

Discuss!!!!!

I think it is a good idea, since I also live at the photography forum, and of cause we post a lot of pictures. It would be much more easy instead of making a topic and create 1 or even more posts/replys to get all those pictures we want to show in the topic.

I am sure anyone who is serious about photography and actually do enjoy seeing all those interesting pictures and are willing to share their own work would vote yes.
lol I didn't even know there is a sub-forum in here where you could make suggestions about this site. Do you need enough members to back you up for the mods to actually consider your suggestion?
Well sometimes it is just pain in the butt when you want to post more than 3 pictures and it happens from time to time that when you are posting the second post with more pictures someone was fast enough to post a comment on the first 3 pics lol.

only thing is those spam images ... but if they limited the image size to say 1000 pixels or autoresized to 1000 high or soemthing they wouldn't be problematic

Not needed i think. When there is a max for the amount of pictures you can have in one post, people at least think about what ones they like most. If you can post any number of pictures people will post everything including bad pictures. 3 is fine i think.

Nahhhhhhh.... if I have a series of 20 photos, from let's say, a trip to Sweden (you would be taking a lot of photos in this case, and I'm sure there'd be at least 10 that are worth showing) I would want to be able to post them all in one post instead of making 4 posts to post 10 photos....

hmm im not sure. i dont mind making another post. i think it would be easier to remember the links, but a user might come to the photography forum and abuse the feature. i dont mind it would cut people's post counts a little for those who like to post lots of images

Then that topic will be closed, and maybe he should get a warning... rules are to be broken at some point; we have to look on the pros and cons, and I think the positive side wins biggrin.gif tongue.gif

I do mind making another post... I got the next 3 pictures to post, and I get a "you must wait 30 seconds to make another post" frankly I find it annoying. I'd rather much post once and be done with it.
