So, from the last poll which was on the HD Camera, I questioned the purchase.
I've decided to purchase it, and my friend will be purchasing an HD Cam too. Both setup with RODE mics and 35mm adapters

We've started scripting out the film, and have made one small teaser so far:

Today a Flickr friend of mine got his amazing HDR in explore. I think it's AMAZING. The best HDR I've seen yet!

I'd have to see it first, but I can somewhat agree. I'm not into HDR, I like it natural.

I have to agree with you course a lot of sunset shots are beautiful enough that additional editing would probably make them look artificial and weird.

i dont understand the video. i thought a teaser was a preview of a film...not a couple of slides of text that make little sense!

i think the HDR by ur mate would have looked better if there was more water in there, because water looks good in hdr

It's a teaser, VERY small and gives you a feeling of what it is about,.
A Trailer is a 30second-1minute preview of the film.

Close, but different.

The HDR feels a bit gimmicky since there's a bit of the Halo effect on the left side of the ship that ends quite aburptly. So you end up with a picture that looks HDR on one side and like a single exposure on the other.

Like doyleo said, showing some more water might have helped since HDR usually works well with water. It's not bad, but its definitely not among the best ones out there. A quick DA search of HDR brings up pictures like the one below.
