I like #1 the best except I think you should try to focus on the numbers a lil bit more but I guess yours got the word Trust focused too.
I may will try some reversed lens macro shots tomorrow but so far i think I have done quite good using 85mm while taking some of my close up pictures.
btw did you use the built-in flash or a regular lamp? I could imagine how hard it is to take some pictures in the full manual mode and that's probably why the last picture got so overexposed lol.
About coins. I think pennies are my favorite probably because there are sooooooo many of them out there and finding interesting and old ones are quite easy. I think the oldest ones I have found so far are a 1938 Canadian and a 1939 American ^^.
I thought some of my coins are dirty and sad looking lol yours are like a lot worse

. Btw I remember you cleaning some of them with some kind of white powder mixed with water. Do you want to tell me what it is? lol I have a few silver coins that I want to clean that's why I'm asking.
manual focus

I would have tried to focus on the numbers, but I couldn't even see them through the view finder lol! I used a flash...
You don't use manual focus when your lens isn't even attached
All you have to do is move closer or farther away to get it to focus. The last photo got over exposed because I wasn't holding the lens close enough to the body, and it let some light in.
Btw it's called "baking powder" to clean your coins. It's a fine gritty powder that gets into everything, then you mix a little water with it (not too much) and use a rag to rub the coin.
