These are a couple of shots of me and my car at the track today. Shot with a crap digital camera, but I had a blast.
My car is the Camaro Z28.

...
I dunno...
Doesn't look like you used any actual effort in getting some sort of quality work.
Looks like stuff any other spectator would take at a racing event...

This type of photograph has been shot over and over from the same perspective, which makes them boring.
I don't feel any real focal point, and no depth of field at all.

The detail doesn't seem very well either...

And in my opinion, the car is not at all impressive sad.gif
Looks like an old stock corvette.

You need to get some different view points, and perhaps a better camera.
If you look up on Google "Sports Photography" You will find one thing in common, everything
you find will have "Get out your checkbook" somewhere in it, because sports photography (Especially racing events)
require the BIG telephotos lenses, which tear holes in your wallet!

i dont think he wants his photos to look pro, i wouldnt care about quality of photos if i went to have a bit of fun on the track.

You dont need to have a professional camera or a pricey car or anything expensive to have fun and im sure he really enjoyed himself on that trackday.

As to the photos, yes of course they wont be going on the front cover of a car magazine but all these pictures like these are used for is to remind people of good times.

Yes SHE had a wonderful time at the track racing her CAMARO, not a vette.
It was more for memorabilia that I can show my grandkids one day to show them that their grandmother got out and kicked some butt.

IMO User Blogs should be used for pictures that aren't shot for the sake of art. =\
